Teen Programming
Our children are our future. GJE’s youth programs reach children from every part of our community through a variety of programs, including shabbatons and holiday events, and Hebrew School.
Rabbi Moshe and Bruchy open their homes to the teens in the community for themed Shabbos dinners. By hosting separate Shabbos dinners for middle and high school students, Rabbi Moshe and Bruchy cater to their specific needs and interests, creating an environment where they can feel comfortable and engaged. Encouraging them to disconnect from technology allows them to fully immerse themselves in the experience and connect with their peers on a deeper level. This is a fantastic way to engage teenagers in their Jewish heritage while also providing them with a fun and meaningful social experience. Overall these themed Shabbat dinners offer teenagers the chance to experience the joy and beauty of Shabbos in a way that is relevant, strengthens their sense of community and belonging, and gives them memories that will stay with them for years to come.
